Classify body mass index (BMI) category
Description
bmi_cat
returns the element-wise BMI category as factor with 6 levels:
Underweight (18.5 < BMI)
Normal weight (18.5

BMI < 25)Overweight (25

BMI < 30)Obesity class I (30
\le
BMI < 35)Obesity class II (35
\le
BMI < 40)Obesity class III (BMI
\ge
40)
Usage
bmi_cat(bmi)
Arguments
bmi |
A numeric vector with BMI data. |
Value
A vector of class factor
with 6 levels: "Underweight",
"Normal weight", "Overweight", "Obesity class I", "Obesity class II"
and "Obesity class III".
