Elastic Prediction for functional PCA

Description

This function performs projection of new functions on fPCA basis

Usage

## S3 method for class 'vfpca'
predict(object, newdata = NULL, ...)

Arguments

object

Object of class inheriting from "vertFPCA"

newdata

An optional matrix in which to look for functions with which to predict. If omitted, the original functions are used.

...

additional arguments affecting the predictions produced

Returns a matrix
