Exponantial Ranking Selection
Description
The Exponantial Ranking Selection operator is a selection operator that uses probabilities obtained by exponentially weighting the ordinal numbers of individuals.
Usage
selers(fitvals, ns, selbc, ...)
Arguments
fitvals |
Vector of fitness values belonging to individuals |
ns |
Number of individuals to be selected |
selbc |
Base of exponent |
... |
Further arguments passed to or from other methods. |
Value
The indices of randomly selected individuals are returned.
