Equality of a Pearson's linear correlation coefficient to a given value

Description

Performs a test for equality of a Pearson's linear correlation coefficient to a given value.

Usage

cor.conf(var1, var2, theo)

Arguments

var1

numeric vector (first variable).

var2

numeric vector (second variable).

theo

theoretical value.

Value

method

a character string giving the name of the test.

data.name

a character string giving the name(s) of the data.

statistic

test statistics.

p.value

p-value of the test.

null.value

the value of the theoretical coefficient.

alternative

a character string describing the alternative hypothesis.

estimate

the estimated correlation coefficient.
