Divide In Place

Description

Change the value of an object on the search path through division. Equivalent to '/=' in other languages. See incr for details on implementation.

Usage

x %/=% value

Arguments

object to be modified; can be a symbol, character, or extraction language object.

value

value with which to change x by

the new value of x, invisibly
