metar_gust {pmetar}

Get gust speed.

Description

Extract a gust speed from METAR weather report.

Usage

metar_gust(x, metric = TRUE)

Arguments

x

Input character vector; a METAR weather report or reports.

metric

For the default metric = TRUE a returned gust wind speed is in m/s. If it's FALSE, in knots.

Value

a numeric vector with a gust speed in m/s or in knots.
