Radionuclide Concentrations on Rongelap Island
Description
This data-set was used by Diggle, Tawn and Moyeed (1998) to illustrate
the model-based geostatistical methodology introduced in the paper.
discussed in the paper. The radionuclide concentration data set consists
of measurements of \gamma
-ray counts at 157
locations.
Usage
data(rongelap)
Format
The object is a list with the following components:
coords
the coordinates of data locations.
data
the data.
units.m
n
-dimensional vector of observation-times for the data.borders
a matrix with the coordinates defining the coastline on Rongelap Island.
