Effective radiant temperature of sky (K)

Description

This function estimates the effective radiant temperature of the sky (K) using either the Brunt or Swinbank formulations (Gates 1980).

Usage

T_sky(T_a, formula)

Arguments

T_a

numeric ambient air temperature (K)

formula

character Formula to use, current choices are: "Brunt", "Swinbank".

Value

numeric T_sky (K).
